I am starting today, but I won't finish it today, its a work in progress.
Viral mailers and safelists are a great way to get people to join your site, but there's a catch.
Don't use a sales page, use a capture page/splash page, more on that later.
Don't use a tracking url, it just gets in the way.
First some sites for you, I will give you a handful to start with, and go from there.
Always remember, to look out, to see if you can add, text ads and banners ads on a site.
A lot of the sites, are very similar, be sure to look out for promotional codes when joining sites in the members area, there are often freebies, to get you going.
When you start to get emails from people who have also joined the site, you will be inundated, the best way forward is to filter out the emails completely, as there is a lot of temptation out, its best avoided, you do need to click on some ads to get yours sent, unless you have become a paid member, simply go to the mail out section of the site you are with, click on the missed emails tab, click through 10 solo ads, job done, you can now send your ad out.
You may fear what to use as a solo ad, when you send it out, don't.
No one reads the actually solo ad, they roll past it, and click on the credit link, what you do need to do, is have a heading that makes people want to open up the email, have that running for a couple of weeks, then change it for another.
Now for the heading, simple look at the headings of other peoples ads, copy and paste them into a file, and use them, make sure to use the same one time and again, every day if possible, or at least 3 times a week, with many sites, you can only mail out every 3 days, as a free member thats fine.
How many sites do you join, to promote your site?
Its completely up to you, some use 3 sites, consistently, others use hundreds, its your call.
For creating splash pages, there is a free tool, that will help you do so, called Second Splash, as a free member, you can create 3 splash pages, then use those on the safelists, and viral mailers, plus its viral, so you recruit people for Second Splash, and when they upgrade you get paid. Mary Ann has been around forever, its a good site, but the negative, is that you have to logging, to click on credits on the emails.
You can stack up a lot of credits quickly, should you wish to. Your best bet with this site, is to have them go to your email address rather than the members inbox in the site, as you have two chances to build up credits that way.
She also have the facility as a free member, for a free logging ad, which has to be updated on a Monday, but in order to receive this, you need to click on 10 solo ads from her site each day.

This safelist, is part of a massive network of advertising, that has been going on for over 20 years.

Is a very simple site, simply send your solos out each week, add banners, and texts, and your good to go.
